Eazy transactions are secured using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer ) which prevents Password Cracking via Network Monitoring ("sniffing").
Besides that an optional security authentication token provides users
with strong two-factor authentication that protects sensitive online information
even if intruder guessed or "shoulder surfed" user login and password.
Audits and surveys have uncovered
disconcerting information:
90% of survey participants will give up their passwords for a ballpoint
pen
66% of survey participants had already given their passwords to someone
else not in IT
35% of passwords can be found in a user's work area--like on a sticky
note
12% of audited network accounts had the word "password" as the password
5% of audited network accounts had the user's first or last name as the
password
A security authentication token is a small hardware device that the owner
carries to authorize access. The device is in the form of a key fob. Security
token generates One-Time Passwords (OTP) every minute. To access Eazy account, user must provide his login and One-Time Password.
This diagram describes Eazy security with authentication token. On
Logon page instead of static password, user enters his name and a One-Time
Password, which changes every minute.
